I usually follow the recipes as closely as I can but lately with the new job I have very little time and no time for making apple butter ( that isn't available in Italy) so I substituted with a cup of blended peaches, as I was changing the recipe I omitted the nuts and substituted dried strawberries for raisins... the result was a wonderfully moist ad flavourful cake that will appear often on our table ! What a beautiful cake! Your subs sound really good to me as well...yum!
Since applebutter isn't available, you could have subed applesauce and upped the amount of cinnamon and nutmeg.
I heart your bundt pan.
Such a beauty Natalia. Very appealing !
I love the shape, gorgeous
Great subs, I love that pan! How many bundt pans can one own??
What a beautiful cake! Nicely done!
Ahhh your cake is beautiful! I loved this recipe too!
nice looking rose bundt pan :)
Love your creative substitution. I learn so much from my fellow TWD bakers!!
That is a beautiful cake and I bet the peaches were great in it. It amazes me sometimes that apple butter isn't available in some places because it is such a staple here. Great job on your cake!
Your cake is so pretty Natalia - a perfect rose.
Che bella torta Natalia! I made the apple butter in a slow-cooker, which was yummy and really easy. Too bad we can't get together for a slice of your cake. :) Baci!
A mixed fruit cake sounds delicious! I love the pan that you used.
I love this cake pan! And the cake of course!
