I cannot believe I finally made it this Friday !! I baked this wonderfully yummy and superfast goodies which are fantastic : they come together in minutes and are really delicious, I want to try them with different fillings too.
I promised myself to catch the group up with all the recipes and started with these 'get out of here or I'll eat you all' babies. I made the chocolate version half recipe (froze some ganache and chocolate pastry cream for a bright future !)

Wow - stunning results on both recipes ! Nana and I enjoyed trying each of these, though have to say that the ease of the savory baton will have them more often repeated that all the steps involved with the eclairs. That said, my mouth is watering at that photo of your eclairs - great job !

E' da una vita che voglio provare a fare gli eclaires, pero' li confronterei sempre a quelli di Tonolo, la pasticceria di Venezia dove li fanno sublimi.

Ho rivestito una sedia, ho riverniciato il ripiano della cucina, sto per riverniciare una serie di mobiletti salvati dalla strada, insomma cose che ho messo da parte per anni. Mia figlia vuole decorare la sua camera, insomma tante cose. In piu' prima di partire per l'Italia (ti ho detto che veniamo?), devo risistemare la casa.....il disordine e' sovrano!

Per le foto....ho una macchina meravigliosa devo confessare, ma e' la luce naturale che e' importante per le foto, a volte difficile da avere se si ha poco tempo durante il giorno.

I've always wanted to make my own eclairs and looking at these photos - Dorie is where you start. But I am a savory person and batons really look good. Really. Good. Very god. Wonderfully good.
