TWD : Dressy Chocolate Loafcake

Here is the no fuss cake that Amy of Amy Ruth Bakes chose for us. It is a very simple cake to assemble, doesn't need strange ingredients, and it's suitable for a fancy dinner too !
The loafpans that are common in Italy are 11,5 by 4,5 so I didn't have problems with that either.
I've used a raspberry jam in the cake but maybe I should have put more: I'm always afraid of a too sweet cake.
Please visit the others TWDers for more and Amy for the recipe.

I love how your icing drips down the sides like that...always looks fun to me to see that! Guys loved this one. Chocolate chocolate cherry, a big hit.

Pretty cake. I bet the raspberry goes well with the chocolate.

Natalia this looks wonderful. I'm always afraid of making something too sweet too. Mine was not pretty, but very delicious.

Same fear here, but even with more strawberry filling it wasn't too sweet. Yours looks lovely with the drizzling chocolate.

Such a pretty cake! And I'm such a sucker for those long, narrow pans. I definitely need to get my hands on one or two :)

I love how your glaze is dripping ever so slightly over the edge! This looks so chocolatey and irresistible.
