TFF Samosas with Chickpeas and Spinach

Dear friends this week we made samosas but vegetarian and baked instead of fried, I hope it's not too much of a change but that evening I really didn't want to deep fry ! The results were very good I made the samosa smaller but that way you don't get enough filling so next time I'll stick to Tyler's suggestions

I don't really have the skills of a perfect samosa's maker ! But I'll get better !

I froze half the samosas and I'm looking forward to eating them !! If you want to try the recipe is
here . Please visit the blog for more super ideas !!

These sound delicious. Each country has it's own version and in Greece we call them bourekia or kaltsounia.

My vegetarian daughter would love these (and I would too), I have to try them. I think baking them in the oven is a good choice!

And what a great converter widget you have here, I couldn't resist putting in on my blog too, hope that's alright!

Buon fine settimana!

Delicious Samosas Natalia. I made the fried one, of course I can really eat them as much as I would. This baked one is much healthier version. Well done.
Cheers,

si vedono buonissime queste leggere samose. non tradizionale, ma lo scambio healthy e benvenuto! l'abbinamento dei ceci con gli spinaci mi sembra ottimo in queste samose!
Grazie!

That's like healthy meat pies! I love that you baked them!

Of course, here in the south they are called fried pies - filled with meat, or fruit, or a veggie mix. And I love samosas. I like that you baked and didn't fry them. They look delicious.

I think you look like an expert samosa maker! I love them and always bake them too to cut down on the fat and oil.

I did some ages ago and baked! Loved them. Seeing yours I know I need to do them again. Smaller size seems wonderful idea to me.

Nothing wrong with those skills, those samosas look good to me

I love, love, LOVE samosas! The version I make has carrots, peas, and potatoes sauteed with cumin seed and mixed with fresh mint. I sure they're great with chckpeas and spinach too- it's hard to go wrong with samosas.
