BBA Anadama Bread

Well I don't know how to put it but it's as simple as admitting I'm crazy and I joined another baking group !! We are going to bake through all 'the Bread Baking Apprentice' by Peter Reinhart most of us at once a week pace and some slower (faster???) .
Here is the first bread and since I still don't own the book I found a recipe online from the Whole Wheat Breads by the same author I hope it's OK. I likes the bread, it's sweet so I consider it a breakfast bread but the cornmeal crunch it's nice for me.
To join the group check Nicole's blog .

Natalia, your whole wheat anadama is so beautiful. I know what you mean - I think I'm crazy to have signed up for the BBA Challenge too! I'm going to bake twice a month instead of every week. A bit slower but maybe not as crazy!

Let's see now crazy, sick, wacko, nut case ... and a few more, that's what I seem to be getting called and thinking myself. I did love this bread, love the crunch of the corn meal and the molasses.

That is dedication Natalia! I struggle to keep up with one monthly group and one weekly group. Your bread looks lovely, BTW.

I love the slight sweetness from the molasses in this too - definitely a wonderful breakfast bread. Beautiful loaf!
