This is the third recipe I make from 'Around the French Table' by Dorie Greenspan and it is another success for my family.
I urge you all to join our group (which hasn't strict rules) or simply to get the book and enjoy cooking from it !
As you can see I had almost all the ingredients but substituted rice noodles and cilantro which is very difficult if not impossible to find fresh here.
Plese visit the other cooks here

Looks wonderful, Natalia!! :)
I live in Connecticut and couldn't find rice noodles either...your soup looks great.
Your soup looks lovely! Glad you enjoyed it.
Your soups looks perfect, Natalia! So glad you enjoyed it--I did too.
:)
Your soup looks yummy!
Hi Natalia, glad you liked this soup. I had trouble sourcing white peppercorns without going to a gourmet shop (pass!!) or dried chillies.
Lovely photo which makes me hungry for this, all over again. Nice job.
I used rice sticks for the noodles although, I do not know why they are called that. They are the best thin noodles around.
Im so thrilled to have joined the wonderful group too!!
I see i missed 2 recipes but have it in mind to catch!!
A truly hearty happy soup!!
Soup looks/sounds tasty. I am going to make this as soon as I find the ingredients.
I love this group too! So far I have had big successes.
Your soup looks fantastic, by the way. I also couldn't find rice noodles and had to sub in linguine.
Natalia, I just saw this recipe posted over on Kim's Stirring the Pot blog and also wanted to read yours. What a delicious soup; love all the spices! I am going to go over to the web-site to check out the French Fridays with Dorie cooking group. Everything all of you make is so heavenly!
