The preparation is a bit time consuming but I'd love to have a picture of the happy face my two lucky neighbours had when they opened the door and saw it !
I made it exactly as the recipe but didn't have pistachios left to caramelize so I used almonds.
Please visit Lauren for the recipe and the blogroll for more !

That looks great!
I had to pass this week, posted Nutella Peanut Butter Cookies instead that I made a few weeks ago. The holiday put me way behind, just never had time! ;-/
It looks beautiful! I'm sure your neighbors enjoyed it and appreciated all the work!
This looks so pretty! I love the pistachios sprinkled on top....yum!
You did all that work and then gave it away? You're a better person than I am!
Oh Yum! Love pistachios. Never combine them with pears, but sounds pretty irresistible.
Your tart looks beautiful. I love poached pears and the recipe sounds delicious to try.
What a lovely tart Natalia - well done!! And lucky neighbours ...
lucky neighbors indeed! it's beautiful!
I didn't make this recipe. Didn't have all the ingredients (namely pears and pistachios) so I made Dorie's Double crusted blueberry pie instead. Looking at your tart...I may have to stop by the store soon.
You did a beautiful job on this tart! VERY LOVELY!
What a big heart you have... I 'd love to have neighbours like you! WOW! No more Christmas baking! LOL LOL
This is beautiful Natalia!
