TWD : Fold Over Pear Tarte

This week we bake a wonderful tarte thanks to the fantastic intuition of Cakelaw of Laws of the Kitchen that even without picture knew ..
I really loved this tarte even if it took me a while to understand where it was heading to.

I decided to roll the pastry almost to the exact mesure before putting it in the pan and left the oven paper underneath because I tought the folding over would be easier...

Anyhow the tarte came out well enough and so good I must take it somewhere else before I eat it all !
I'm really amazed of the variety of great baking we have been up to with Dorie !

  17. What a beautiful pear torte! Or "pie".. as I thought it might be. Love your prep photos - those are so nice to see. My custard ratio was too high... not enough fruit - but still good. Nicely done!
